FIXES
Each quarter, extra credit is due the WEEK BEFORE the end of the quarter to make sure I have time to assess scores and complete final grades on time. No more than 50 points Ex. Cr. is allowed each quarter. Allowing extra credit does not mean that students don't have to study for tests! It just gives students a chance to shine in areas of strength!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FIXES - Due by Friday of the same week paper was passed back to you!
FIXES need to be completed on notebook paper:
with a full, correct heading;
all incorrect problems / questions copied and numbered according to the problem from the paper;
all problems / questions answered correctly;
extra work must be shown: math – show all steps needed to solve the problem or
rdg, Eng, sci, ss – write the page number from the textbook where
you found the correct answer;
skip lines, be neat, only write problem #s in margins of the paper,
and stapled to the original assessment.
1st Quarter – fixes are below 75%
2nd Quarter – fixes are below 70%
3rd & 4th Quarters – fixes are below 65%

STUDY GUIDES
Study guides are very important learning tools. They let the students and parents know what will be covered on the test.
Therefore: Students should tell their parents about the upcoming test the day they receive the study guide. Parents should make sure their child reviews the material and only then sign the study guide. If a student returns the study guide signed by a parent on the day of the test, he or she will get 3 points extra credit added to the final percent grade.
